The Principles group of courses are designed to deliver to participants entry level knowledge of the approach that various industry sectors take to investment, as well as an understanding of the domestic landscape and key strategies used.

Created primarily for those entering the industry for the first time, our newly refreshed Principles courses cover the core principles of private equity and venture capital in Australia, including the key features of deal structuring and how firms grow businesses over the long term. These programs are facilitated by experienced industry practitioners who use their depth of practical experience to share case studies demonstrating real-life scenarios.

All Principles courses are fully CPD accredited (3 CPD hours) training programs.

The Council is excited to be offering its entry-level Principles of Private Debt face-to-face in Sydney. The program is facilitated by industry leaders who will be sharing their experience and wealth of knowledge with participants, including a case study.

Principles of ESG

The Council is delighted to deliver the newly developed Principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) course in person in Sydney in 2026. Led by seasoned ESG practitioners with real world investment experience, this course is designed for both emerging and established professionals who want to stay ahead of fast moving trends shaping capital markets.
